This summer we were proud sponsors of the Polo after-party at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport. We started the day amongst the on field action, where we had our own sponsors stand next to the pitch. It began with torrents of rain and black skies, not the best weather for polo, but we saw many brave souls sheltering from the rain and rewarded them with our signature cocktail the 1877.
The day also so great entertainment, with a performance from The Voice’s Jaz Ellington as well as many celebrity appearances such as rugby legends Gareth Edwards and Jonathan Davies, Simon Easterby, and TV personalities Cheska Hull, Zoe Hardman and Zoe Williams.

Miraculously the sun came through and it turned out to be a beautiful day. As well as handing out cocktails and snacks, we were signing up people to our loyalty scheme and now have lots of lovely new members. Also congratulations to our Alison, the winner of a bottle of Veuve Cliquot in our raffle. Certainly, a day of great polo and great people.

Following this fabulous day of horsing around we all donned our glad rags to host the after-party back at the main resort. There was fantastic live music for the evening, cocktails and champagne galore, as well as more chance to win great prizes with the chapel in another raffle. It really turnout out to be a great day and evening all round and it was lovely to see so many new faces.
