There is no place like Chapel1877. Cardiff has been graced by the most amazing wining and dining venue, right in the heart of the City. Three floors of luxurious surroundings, themed on the renovated Chapel first constructed in 1877. The French-Italian Gothic themed creation was originally designed by the architect Henry C Harris, who became renowned for his incredible structures throughout the 1800′s.

Staying true to it’s conception, the chapel has gone through what can only be described as a second renaissance. A stunning mix of medieval and contemporary.

The Chapel has been converted into a real jewel in the crown for Cardiff. There is a certain wow factor when you step inside the chapel. The late 1800′s were known as the reconstruction era and there is no place that seems more fitting for that term.

The Vault Function Suite

A divine dining experience awaits you in the Chapel. Our basement area is for hire and private functions, music, seating and room for around 100 people.

The Gastro Bar

The Main Bar, situated on the ground floor is our do-drop-in area. Anything from a cup of coffee in the mornings to a drink and a meal from our bar menu awaits.

The Restaurant A La Carte

The first floor hosts our A La Carte menu and fine wines from around the world. Our elegant surrounding and ambient atmosphere is perfect for those of you wishing to extend your enjoyment of fabulous flavours, in the most amazing luxury.
